R.S.Monthly Activity for November

Melanie Ewell and Dawn Waid delighted the Relief Society sisters with their home cooking skills tonight!  What a treat to taste everyone's homemade goodness and share some fantastic Thanksgiving recipes!

Trunk-Or-Treat

So excited to have the whole ward together for our annual pot-luck and Trunk-Or-Treat party!  The food was wonderful and it was really great to see all the fun costumes! 

Primary Presentation~ "I Know the Scriptures are True"

Dear Parents of Primary Children,

The Sacrament meeting presentation by our ward Primary is this Sunday, October 23.

Please have the Primary children at the church by 12:45 (15 minutes prior to the start of Sacrament meeting) so that, after using the restroom, they can be in their assigned seats before the start of the meeting. 

We are looking forward to sharing what we have learned this year in Primary.  See you Sunday!

RS October Recipes

UMC Layette Project

We will be collecting layette items for UMC only during October.  Please bring your items to church and there will be a collection spot at the RS room.  Items to donate: new onesies, sleepers, receiving blankets.  If you don't have time to do shopping, you can also make a cash donations.  Please see the attached flyer.  Questions?  Call Kim Bennett at 869-2068.

Instructions~On-line Ward Directory

Hi Everyone!
Here are the step-by-step instructions to get an account on lds.org, so you can access the ward directory on-line!  You definitely want this App {here} for your cell phone!  It's such a wonderful, useful tool, and I know you're all dying to add your family picture, so everyone will know who you are!  :) 

PS. don't forget to check out all the cute pictures from our ward socials below!

GET AN ACCOUNT WITH LDS dot ORG

1. Go to {lds.org}

2. Click "Sign In" (upper right hand corner)

3. Don't have an account? Click on "Register for an LDS Account" (if you already have an account, type in your username and password and then "sign in")

4. Here it will ask you for your membership record # (which can be found on your temple recommend OR on your tithing settlement records OR you can get it from the ward clerk in his office on Sunday--Brother Payan)

5. Fill out the information and click "next step" (an email will be sent to the email address that you specified)

6. Go to your email inbox and click on "Complete Registration"

7. Select a username and password

8. Go to "Sign-In" and type in your username and password

*Once you have completed your registration, you can use the "Ward Directory" link (upper right hand corner, for a shortcut)

GET YOUR FAMILY PICTURE UPLOADED

Now that you are all registered and logged in, the next steps will help you get your picture uploaded

1. Click on "Tools"

2. Click on "Directory" from the drop down menu

3. Click on "Households" and scroll down to find your family name and click on it

4. To add a family picture click on "edit profile"

5. Under "Household Information" Click on "Choose File" (right hand corner)

then click "continue" and then click "select photo". *hint: you can also add individual images of each family member if you want to

6. Find your family photo in your pictures file on your computer (it must already be saved on your computer to be able to proceed)

7. Click "Upload Now". When your picture has finished uploading click "Done" and "save changes" or "close".

You did it!  You're done!

***If you have not uploaded a picture yet because you don't have one, please contact me for an appointment! I am taking appointments for family pictures at no charge to our ward members (for this project only). All you need to do is set up an appointment with me. ~Cindy Larkin
